The full scale Duster is a homebuilder that looks like and builds like a large model.
The full scale Duster was designed by Hank Thor to improve upon the Schweizer 1-26.  The name came from the then famous Plymouth Duster.  The Duster plans were for sale in the August 1971 Soaring magazine. According to the article, Jim Maupin and Norm Barnhart built the first Duster and that one was the first to fly.  Characteristics include low cost and garage build and storage.

The full kit has laser cut ribs and formers, all wood, canopy, plans and hardware. The  short kit has laser cut ribs and formers, plans, hardware, and canopy. (11% S3021 airfoil with a 1% camber)
